Itinerary

Day 01:

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

•   Airport pickup & transfer to hotel

•   Expedition briefing & gear check

Day 02:

Fly to Lukla (2,860m) – Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

•   35-min scenic flight

•   3–4 hrs trek along Dudh Koshi River

Day 03:

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

•   Enter Sagarmatha National Park

•   6–7 hrs trek, steep climb at the end

Day 04:

Acclimatization in Namche (3,440m)

•   Side hike to Everest View Hotel / Khumjung

Day 05:

Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)

•   5–6 hrs trek, visit Tengboche Monastery

Day 06:

Trek to Dingboche (4,410m)

•   Trek through Pangboche village

•   6 hrs trek

Day 07:

Acclimatization in Dingboche (4,410m)

•   Hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083m)

Day 08:

Trek to Chhukung (4,730m)

•   3–4 hrs trek through Imja Valley

•   Prepare for climbing

Day 09:

Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (5,200m)

•   Set up base camp, training session with climbing gear

Day 10:

Summit Island Peak (6,189m) – Return to Chhukung (4,730m)

•   Early alpine start (2 am)

•   Glacier travel, steep snow slopes, fixed rope section

•   8–10 hrs round trip

Day 11:

Contingency / Reserve Day

•   Extra day in case of bad weather

Trek back to Pangboche (3,985m)
